"some infrastructure servers cannot be contacted" error while connecting to NWDI track from NWDS 7.3 EHP1 SP05

Hi Experts,

I am getting "some infrastructure servers cannot be contacted" error while connecting to NWDI track from NWDS7.3 EHP1 SP05. But the same will work if i disable (unchecked) the  proxy server in internet options->Connections->LAN settings->proxy server then close and open NWDS. Is there any proxy setting need to change in NWDS.

Regards,

Rakesh Mathew

Dear Ervin,

Please find the screenshot.

sld is  http://xxxx:1111/sld/cimom

dtr is  http://xxxx+FQDN:1111/dtr

cbs is           http://xxxx:1111/

But the same will work if i disable (unchecked) the  proxy server in internet options->Connections->LAN settings->proxy server then close and open NWDS

Rakesh Mathew

Hi Rakesh,

I suggest you to setup the proxy settings in NWDS in the same way as you did in internet options and then try again:

In NWDS menu -- Window -- Preferences -- General -- Network connections

I also believe that in CMS webui -- Landscape Configurator -- Domain Data tab, on the bottom of the page where you specify SLD, you only need to specify http://<host>:<port>  i.e. without the sld/cimom ending.

Then if you delete this development config and reimport it, it should then display the URL also correctly, but this is just a sidenote, I think your current problem is rather about the proxy settings of NWDS I mentioned above.

Interesting also that in the above screenshot it displays an error for CBS while SLD and DTR seems fine. Are you sure that it is the same host and port (I can't see it because you hided it) and if not, it is really accessible?

I hope this helps.

Best Regards,

Ervin

Hi Ervin,

Issue resolved , we have to select "Direct" in

NWDS menu -- Window -- Preferences -- General -- Network connections--Active Provider

Thank you
