Hi,
Our client is using SRM 5.0 with extended classic scenario. I would like to propose SRM SUS for the customer so that they get benifit of itegrating suppliers in their procurement process. On this regard, I would like to know, what are all the scenarios supported for SRM SUS with SRM5.0 Extended Classic Scenario?
1. PO processing by supplier?
2. Confirmation creation by Supplier?
3. Invoice creation by supplier?
Thanks in Advance.

Hello Munikumar,
Could you please advise why your client is choosing to upgrade on SRM 5.0? SRM 5.0 mainstream maintenance already ended in March 2012 and their Extended Maintenance is ending in March 2015. Please fine below details from Product Availability Matrix (PAM) from SAP.
Details for Product Version SAP SRM 5.0
Official Name: | SAP Supplier Relationship Management 2005 |
Product: | SAP SRM |
Type of Product Version: | Standalone |
Release Type: | Standard |
Current Status: | In extended maintenance |
Portfolio Category: | Applications > SAP Business Suite > Core Applications > SAP SRM Releases and EhPs |
Release Plan
Release to Customer: | 10/24/2005
General Availability: | 06/02/2006
End of Mainstream Maintenance: | 03/31/2012
End of Extended Maintenance: | 03/31/2015 |
I would recommend first of all to go with SRM 7.0 version with netweaver technology as that is the latest version and with SRM 7.0 going forward there will be enhancements packs for any new upgrade so you do not have to spend much time upgrading it.
Coming back to your question, About recommending SRM - SUS, You may be aware that SAP bought Ariba and SAP future landscape is to have folks who are having low volume can utilize Ariba Supplier network which is more cost effective then maintaining own SRM SUS server and in Ariba Supplier network you can do all the activities which you have mentioned above.
Hope this will help .
Thank you
Ritesh

Hi,
In ECS only PO processing is possible. One needs to go for consulting solution for confirmation & invoice creation.
