Background job still running - data can be displayed only

In Va01 while creating sales order I got the message"Version 0 is not defined for fiscal year 2013"

for this I m trying  to define year 2013 for Version 0 in TC OKEV but getting the popup "Background job still running - data can be displayed only"

what  I should do to resolve it?

Hi,

Some reason may be

1)IN SM37, for all active jobs,u can cancel from there

2)from sm12,u can get all lock entries,for some locking issue,in TABLE.

3)A NEW thing in ECC6.0,I learn from somewhere,When the message showing,click on help,(question mark)

Rather than stopping job,

In screen>display mode> one command can work

=kill.
