Hi,

Since we have the instruction tracking functionality in EM, kindly inform for events "Execution" can we process event message from EM with actual dates.

If yes, in TM how do the messages propagate and hence how can we check in TM that event messages are processed from EM Web UI into TM

Hi Indraneel,

as Marco already stated, the standard only supports the direction from TM to EM, i.e. in TM the status of the instruction is set to "Completed" and this triggers the sending of the event message "Execution".

If you want to set up the other direction, this is surely possible, but has to be done by yourself. The tricky part of this would be to update the instructions in TM, when event message is send to EM from other source (not from TM).

I have a question on the following statement-TM the status of the instruction is set to "Completed" and this triggers the sending of the event message "Execution".

When event message is triggered from TM-EM in that case when we enter into EM web UI, the status icon against execution shows yellow and not green even though instruction is set to completed.

Also is there any event message triggered when instruction set is completed.

Finally when can we view the instruction set to "overdue" in FWO so that alerts are triggered due to overdue. In this case is there any event message triggered

Hi Indraneel,

normally the expectation would be that status icon of the expected event changes to "Green" after the event message "Execution" has been sent from TM to EM - and this should be the case when instruction is set to "Completed" in TM. Maybe some configuration is still missing? Please check the configuration guide for the instruciton integration, if any setting is missing.

Instruction status is set to "Overdue" if the overdue date has passed. In EM the report /SAPTRX/EE_MONITOR has to be scheduled periodically for this (this is standard report in EM).

After you have successfully finished the configuration the TM - EM Integration guide can be found

Hi,

I have installed solman as per the instruction but however there is no sub tabs available agaisnt SAP transportation management which will help me to select the scenario.Can you kindly advise is there any specific settings we need to activate during standard installation because the link you have specified is not applicable specific to TM 9.0

please check ist your solution manager content is up to date. You should have installed ST-ICO SP 35

the current Standard content for instruction trackin supports messages from SAP TM only.
