Run time error while saving approved time

Hi Friends,

While saving the approved time system giving run time error.

"The message goes like this:

Program terminated

Date

Time

Transaction ID

What can you do?

Contact your SAP Administrator."

This kind of run time error is coming for one employee only. checked the employee master data and no issue. Also checked the time entries for inconsistency hours but there also no issue means quaterly increments  (1.00, 1.25, 1.50, 1.75 ). Checked the sap notes but could not find any relevant notes.

What could go wrong here when message says that "Contact your SAP Administrator?". User has correct authorization and no issue here also.

Would appreciate you inputs and thanks in anticipation.

Actually there is no error message number. I have produced the run time error message in post and it says contact SAP System administrator. Surprised to note no message number etc.

Tushar: let me check with HRMS team on that issue. Can you please elaborate assignment date?.

Hello Sudhakar,

HRMS team do the assignment of the person from one specific start date to another specific end date in specific Infotype.

For example.. If first line is 01.01.2012 to 31.12.9999, then previous line of assignment can be 01.01.2011 to 31.12.2011.Then next line could be 01.01.2010 to 31.12.2010.

If end date for both lines is 31.12.9999, there will be inconsistency in Prod data as compared to HRMS system. So in that case HRMS team runs PFAL to sync this both data.

This is what we observed in our project. Please check this with HRMS team.

Hi Tushar,

Thanks for your reply. Checked the start dates but no change. This is issue is not showing up in Q system but only Production. Just last week only Q was refreshed from P system. Still looking into the issue.

Hi Friends,

Issue solved.

For benefit of forum would like to share, using transaction CATR deleted the inconsistencies in between interface tables that is CATSDB and CATSPS.

Hello Sudhakar,

Just one suggestion.

Is your employee master data in Production System is in sync with master data maintained in HRMS system.

Because, we also faced little similar issue in our project few days back and it was found that Employee Master data was not in sync in HRMS as well as Production System. Further when we disucssed this issue with HRMS team, they have found some inconsistency in Assignment Date. Hence they run some transaction like PFAL and issue got resolved.
