H Experts,
I am installing SAP ECC on two nodes ( CI node and DB node, this is not HA ) , Oracle and SAPdata files will be installed on DB node, SAP kernel, oracle client and other related files will be on CI node please let me know what are the file systems need to be cross mounted ? Everything in oracle will be installed in DB node, do I have to cross mount the oracle part (as below in the table) to CI node or oracle client can take care of that from CI node ?
Reply will be highly appreciated
Thanks
Al Mamun
Hi Al Mamun,
That information is explained in detail on the installation guide.

You don't have to mount DB filesystems in CI, Oracle Client will take over... read the documentation on the installation guide.

Hi,
In case of Distributed setup you need to mount the following
1) Mount /sapmnt/<SID> from CI node to DB node
2) You may need to install oracle client on both the nodes DB node and CI node
