Hiding text fields in Master page of adobe forms

Hi,

I am having text fields in a sub form in master pages. I want to hide certain fields,

but the fields are not getting hidden even after writing the code in the form ready event using Java Script.

But the same works in design view of the form. I want it in master pages.

Could anyone guide me please. searched may forums but could not find any solutions for this.
