KF UOM unable to change in the Planning book

Hi Experts,

I have created a XX key figure in numbers in RSA1 and assigned that XX key figure to the planning area.

In the planning area 'Key Figs' tab -->Details --> UOM column is showing uneditable mode (grayed Mode).

Please have a look at below screen shot which is marked in red.

In RSA1 I defined that XX kf is in number and the same kf  i used in the planning area. For this kf i am unable to edit or change the unit of measure in the Planning book.

Please provide the details if anybody faced such issue.

Sumanth,

Numbers do not have Units of Measure.  Change your KF to either Amount or Quantity, depending upon your business requirement.

I have a KF which is defined in Quantity in RSA1 but i am unable to edit

the QTY KF UOM in the planning area. Plz have a look at below screen shot

Below screen which is from planning area, The KF which is in PA is in grayed out. But the KF in RSA1 is in QTY.

How can i edit now?

Hi Sumanth,

DP related planning areas do not allow to set UoM as in SNP. In DP, planning area's UoM will be enforced on all the quantity key figures. The screen capture that you used represents the standard behavior.
