Hi Experts,
We have got a scenario, where we need to do storage location substitution in APO using RBATP.
We have followed all the suggested steps on SAP help.
1) Assigned storage locations to MRP areas.
2) Ciffed MRP areas to APO.
3) Done RBATP settings, using condition technique.
4) Set rule for substituting storage locations, while doing availability check in APO.
but with all this, system is not substituting storage locations while we are creating sales order, moreover even in rule determination rule is not getting eveluated when we create substitution based on MRP areas.
Any thoughts on this, what can be the possible reason for failure.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Sourabh
Hi Sourabh,
Are you using your storage location LGORT (Sub-location in APO) as one of the field catalog in your condition table? If so, entering the storage location in the sales order shipping tab (item level) is important. Otherwise APO will not see the storage location requested from the sales order and will not initiate the RBA. It is same like Plant which we enter to start the ATP check.
Please check and confirm

Sourabh,
Did you maintain MRP areas for that specific product?
Thanks,

Hi Sourabh,
Check config setting for ATP group.
Maintain Check Control--- ATP Control tab : General Tab --- No subloc. Check box should not be ticked for your scenario.
