Inspection at PGI

Dear Team,

I did following in system

QM>>Quality Inspection >> Inspection Lot Creation >> Inspection at Shipping >> Assigning inspection type to Delivery type (inspection type 10)

Activating inspection type 10 to the material.

QV51 (Quality Information Record - Sales) with after delivery selection option.

Then I created a delivery document (not done PGI yet). The inspection lot is created and not allowing to do PGI.

I want to Allow the system to do PGI even if the lot is not completed or The system should not create the inspection lot immediately after delivery document creation but, after PGI.

Please tell me what to do?

Inspection lot will be generated for Delivery only. But still it should allow to do PGI without completion of Inspection lot.

Please check the materials & customer combination. Also check how many materials you mentioned in delivery & for that you have maintained Customer Info record with After Delivery option.

If you want an inspection lot generation after goods issue, why don't you use the inspection type 02?

When you use the inspection type 02, don't forget "inspection deactivation for movement type".

Because SAP will generate unexpected inspection lot for another GI movement.
