NWDI Track edit / Save error

Dear Guru's

While creating the new track in NWDI, i am facing the below erro:

CBS (URL http://<hostname>:<portno>/tc.CBS.Appl /archiveapi2/) communication exception: Incorrect content-type found 'text/html' (Service call exception; nested exception is: java.lang.Exception: Incorrect content-type found 'text/html')

Even for changing the existing track also giving the same error.

Patch level Nw 7.0 EHP2 SPS11

DI_CBS  7.02 SP11

DI_CMS  7.02 SP11

DI_DTR  7.02 SP11

No sap notes available please help.

Hi,

I am confident that this happens always if there is a problem with the NWDI communication user (the user maintained on the CMS webui -- Landscape Configurator -- Domain Data tab) usually called NWDI_CMSADM.

Please doublecheck the note:

Before checking the note you can do a quick test:

1. close all browsers (this is required to make sure the session dies and so the ticket becomes invalid)

2. open a new one, and attempt to log on to CMS webui-- notice the result if it works or not

3. now close the browser

4. open a new one

5. attempt to log on to CBS webui - notice again the behaviour

6. close the browser again and open a new one

7. do the same test for DTR webui

! Pay atttention to do additional tests if you have more DTRs/CBSs located on different servers.

If you have authentication problem on any of these then proceed as per the note.
