Can i appear for sap certification without training from authorised partner?

I would like to write sap certification in other countries without attending for authorised training from sap partners. Can i do this method of certifcation?

Experience is required (i hope 1+ ) for Associate level.

hi Sudha ,

I am not sure which country you are talking about .

I am undergoing certification in US this month (Jan 2013) , here you can just register yourself , pay the required fees and undergo the Certification .

In india , I would hope you would have to undergo training from authorized training center or have some years of experience before taking the certification .

I know you can do it in US. In India - I think you will have to do it via SAP teched.
