Hi Jaya ,

UD : is the code to represent the decision of quality team to accept reject or partially accept etc the material , on the basis of results recording .

Stock Posting : Stock posting is about qty posting to type of stock or storage location for eg you can mention qty should be posted to which storage location .

You can use automatic stock posting on basis of UD .

Hi Jayaganapati,

Usage decision is nothing but the Acceptance or Rejection of material,based on the characterestics results ,which are recored prior to Usage Decision.

After the above Usage Decision process,you will select the stock posting tab for stcok posting,here you will post material/goods to the respective(Unrestricted/blocked/Reserved..etc) stock category with required quantity(here internally goods movement happens and Goods Movement document get generated).

Usage Decision - Confirming the results recorded.

Stock Posting - In case of Incoming Inspection, Final Inspection, etc., (where goods movement is required), stock should be transferred from Quality to any other stock.
