Regarding Partner functions

Hi Experts,

I have one doubt, kindly clarify.

I have configured partner functions and assigned partner schema to the transaction type in the SRM system.

During SC creation, system has picked partner functions accordingly and same partner functions are updated in to the PO doc.

SRM partner functions / roles & MM partner functions / roles are different.

Here my doubt is, how these SRM partner functions are linked with the respective MM partner functions / roles?

Where we are providing that link in the configuration?

Kindly clear my doubt

Hello,

Standard partner functions are mapped from shopping cart to follow on document created in ECC before document is sent to ECC.

If you are creating new partner functions, this mapping should be done locally in SRM using a badi.

Where i can see mapping for the standard partner functions in between SRM as well as back end SAP systems ?

In the case of new partner functions, what is the BADI name in order to provide mapping?

Kindly clarify my doubts

Hi

My cents to your 2nd question .

1.Use BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW in SRM

2. If doesn't work play with  BAPI Calls of  BAPI_PO_CREATE

3. If you want to change the driver FM to and BAPI_PO_CREATE1 use BADI BBP_DRIVER_DETERMINE

Further check OSS note 668178 which has important notes on allowed Partner functions on

BAPI_PO_CREATE limitations.
