Budget Calculation problem

Dear Friends,

I have a small problem but i am unable to understand how the system is behaving, actually long back i have planned the budget through CJ30.

Here in 2nd level of WBS showing less value than total of 3rd level WBS which are there under 2nd level of WBS.i Will share the image

Actually the total of   R-0016-1-4-001 to R-0016-1-4-008 is 8,050,000. But in Budget column the value is 80,000,00 if i check this budget system is not showing any error and it is saving also.

After that i have add some value so that the current budget showing some more value.

But my question is in budget column  in 2nd (R-0016-1-4) level is showing less value than total of 3rd level WBS if i decrease some more value it is throwing error but for 8000000 it is not.

Can any body tell what mistake i might have done.

Hi Srikanth,

Whatever you are explaining if same you get as result then may be system have some inconsistency so reconstruct the project data with t-code CJBN then check with S_ALR_.......reports.

such total up of 3rd level wbs should be 8,050,000 not 8,000,000.

Hi Srikanth,

If you want to see only Original Budget, you can remove Supplement values from CJ37 and check you report.

Hi Srikanth,

did you check CJI8 - budget line item report ? it will give your transaction history with budget type. may be it can help.

There might be some amount in the supplements, that is the reason system is showing value.

If you look at WBS  R-0016-1-4-001 there is a excess of 500000 INR, as compared to Original Budget.

Pls check Report S_ALR_87013560 - Budget updates for all yout Budget updates.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge actually after 8000000 i have added 500000 budget through CJ37 so it became 8,550,000.00

in current budget column.After some days i was developing some report for that i have checked through tables that time i came to know the 3rd level WBS total is 8,050,000 then i stuck, how the system has accepted in such a way i have checked all the way but could not able to find any thing.

In S_ALR_....Reports it is showing 8,550,000.00 because i have added budget na ..

In cj31 in Budget column only i am getting confusion by seeing the 8000000 value, If i make it 8050000 Distributable value is showing 50000 since the total of 3rd level is equal to the 8050000.

I Have done CJEN But the value remains same.

So can u help me that where did i make mistake in supplement did i do any thing wrong.
