Authorizations in Talent Management Using P_Orgincon

Hi experts,

We are implementing talent Management newly.I Have to give authorizations and came across 3 standard SAP Roles for Employee, Manager and Specialist and copying the roles and giving the authorizations as per pur requirement.

1)XX_TMC_EMPLOYEE

But have doubt reg a scenario...

1) Manager is also an employee of an Organisation where he gets 2 roles one is Employee and the Other one is Manager.Here one instance will have read access for Manager, where as he should be allowed to access the write authorizations in Employee Role.

2) I have one more query, We are trying to give access to 3 functional areas to HR Manager..how could it be possible through structural authorizations because a position holder can have access to vertical line but how can i implement horizontally.

If we use P_ORGINCON for the first scenario.. how can it contextually sepearate the authorizations for same infotypes without overriding..Pls help me..

Not sure about the functional area... are u referring to Org Unit.

Thanks for the reply.

I am refering to departemnets.The department holder needs access to horizontal line.., i mean other depts.
