Dear Experts,

My client want MIC name Remark..

with result recording in only character without any selection set and catelog.

They want to record any character with range 20 character.

For eg> 1. "Material is ok but on the mark level".

             2. "Reult is ok but material condition is bad"

              3. "Inspection ok but required another inspection"     LIKE this.... any kind of sentance...

I have created MIC with name remark with Character type in CT04

assign it to inpection plan.

create a inspection lot but in result recording it requied  selection set and catelog.

Is there any another option available in SAP.

You can mention the long text in RR . instead of creating a remark MIC . Just use long text field .

one more thing you cna do create qualitative mic "remark" . assign a code group with single code "read long text" .

then in RR , you have to choose this code only . It will help to guide user that he has to enter long text . Also while doing UD on the basis of RR , this RR code will help

Long text entry  ?/ in which table it show ??? i have to create a report also on that.

You can get from QAMR table by passing the inspection lot number.

Short text field is PRUEFBEMKT. For Long text, if the text exists, it will show X in PRLTEXTKZ.

You can use Read_Text FM to get the value.

There are options available.

1. In RR, you have Inspection Description. There you can give comments (40 Char field). This field is available against each MIC assigned to that plan
2. As mentioned above, you can use long text to capture the remarks
3. And you can create MIC as Quantitative without any lower limit or upper limit. There, you can type free text by give Character type Characteristics.
