Server error when we navigate to Navigation Dimensions in SPM3.0 Qulity system

Dear Experts,

We are facing an issue in SPM3.0 in Quality system that when we navigate to "Navigation Dimension" in Analysis administration it throws Server Error. When the client is open we are not facing this issue however when the client is closed then we are getting this server error.  Could some one help me in resolving this issue if any one come across this situation.

Hi Amarnath and Julieta

There was a fix for this in SBC BUI NW Adapter 3.0 SP09 Patch 4 from SMP which has helped with SPM 3.0 - so please check the BUI NW version as it may correct the problem for you.

There is also a workaround involving authorizations: Please see 1814928 - SPEND 3.0: "Server Error" creating navigation hierarchies

Navigational dimensions are stored using the USERID provided in the JAVA Portal connection to ABAP (BUI_ANALYTICS_OPM). Please check the authorizations of the user for BUI_ANALYTICS_OPM and provide edit authorizations.
