Need to give CRM_UI Authorization to a user

Dear gurus

I have assigned the role zsap_sm_crm_ui_solmanpro to a user.But still that user hasnt able to used  the CRM_UI Interface.

i have attached the screen shot of menu tab and authorization tab.

Kindly suggest me the solution or changes which i need to perform in the role.

Hi,

Please paste the error you getting?

and also try to assign the standard role SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO

other roles like SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO_ADMIN, SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO_PROC,SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO_CHARM

if this also doesnt help, add the business role SOLMAN_PRO directly to the user in su01 by adding the parameter CRM_UI_PROFILE.

Hi jansi

I tried all these things before i have posted this error.But the user not able to use that transaction code.

Can i need to assign that transaction code CRM_UI in that profile.

Hi,

use the auth object s_tcode assing the transaction crm_ui to the user.

i m sure this is nt always the case. But try. better paste the error message,

Auth object s_tcode is there.But in that CRM_UI is not there.do u mention this area.If i add that tcode here , it will allow the user to use that Tcode.Am i correct?

Dear Vasanth,

Yes as suggest by Jansi , Please add the authorization object S_TCODE as give the crm_ui tcode . Also.

Use S_DEVELOP object. AS shown here . It worked for me. ope it helps you.

I also guess by this time u might have resolved your problem.

Hi,

Have you checked if the same error occurs with transaction SM_CRM?

IIRC we had the same issue initially.
