Hi,
We have a requirement that the Target files will be place in a common shared area
and those file should be open by an authorized user only with the password.
Is there anyway to achieve this requirement in PI..!
Note: Target files would be in .txt format
Thanks in Advance.
Thanks,
Srikanth
Hi,
Above can be acheived by controlling the FTP authorisations to the users you create...which can be normally done by admin ppl...
Dont understand your requirement here with PI...

Hi Srikanth,
This is not possible in PI to encrypt 10 different files with 10 different password. Not sure why you want to do this. You can go for PGP Encryption. Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) is a data encryption and decryption computer program that provides cryptographic privacy and authentication for data communication. PGP is often used for signing, encrypting and decrypting texts, E-mails, files, directories and whole disk partitions to increase the security of e-mail communications.
