I created a customer-material info record via VD51. I entered 10 cases as the minimum but when i create a sales order with 5 cases, it still saves. Please advise what i should check or do so that it comes up with a warning or error message.
VD52 will check for delivery quantity. If you want the system to check in sale order itself, then, maintain the same in material master where you can see a field "Min.order qty" under Sales org.1 tab.
The delivery created as well. I read in one of the threads that it looks at delivery qty. That is what i found strange as well. should it not have created the delivery or given a warning message?
