I would like to know whether we would be able to import unstructured form of data as documents or pdf in to HANA directly by using the concept such as text analytics. I need to extract in to HANA without the usage of any ETL tool. Is it possible to do so?

Ok, that sounds as if it should be doable with the text analysis features.

Please see the HANA Developer Guide  (http://help.sap.com/hana/hana_dev_en.pdf) - chapter 11 "Enabling Search" for details.

Personally I've next to no experience with these features yet, so I can't really tell you how to apply them to your requirements.

I tried using the unstructured layout as Twitter feed to pull the live data in to the HANA but i was not able to extract the data. I am using the Data service 4.0 to trigger the data currently as i dont have any idea on with out using the ETL mechanism.

I am trying to fetch some further information on this.

I will let you know if i am able to proceed with.
