product allocations

hi gurus,

can anybody throw some light on this. I'm trying to build the product allocations functionality for our needs. I ahve pretty much followed all the config steps neededfor the product allocations functionality to work. i tested this out with one cusotmer in the test system and i see that SAP proposes on when it can meet the next qty if we have exceeded allocated quantity within a given period. I have also maintained the proportional factors of 70:30 between two customers. so right now if i were to create the sales order agianast the 2nd customer, the percentage split is not being considered when the avail check is being done. can anyone help

dear siva, thanks for the links. I have already followed these and did all the config settings. What i'm struggling right now is to how will the system react and show messages or warnings or errors etc when we are trying to put sales orders for the second customer for whom we have alloccated percentage split
