Hi,
In ECC,i opened SPROXY tcode. There are 2 views - ESR and Local view.
In XI-I have imported a software component version ERECRUIT 600. In XI this SWCV is opening fine and i have used it in configuration for an interface.
My question is - This SWCV is present in ECC SPROXY in local view only. When i am going to ESR view this SWCV is not visible. In ESR view apart from it all SWCV are visible.
Can anyone let me know how view works and whats it impact.
Regards
Hi,
software component version "ERECRUIT 600 " is a vendor of sap.com .
Note :
The navigation tree only displays the software component versions that are installed in this system (see table CVERS, or choose System -> Status... and then the Component information pushbutton).
All components are displayed.
Ask your basis team to install the ERECRUIT 600 in your system .
thanks and regards,

Hi,
Basis has downloaded tpz file for ERECRUIT 600 and installed in our PI box. I am able to view it in ESR and able to use it in ID too.
When i go to SPROXY tcode - this SWCV is shown only when i am clicking local view in SPROXY tcode. When i am clicking on ESR view this is not shown...
Any idea on it..
Check ERECRUIT is available or not in support package manager <SPAM> .
I assume its there then only you are able to see in local view in SPROXY .
I suggest you to Re import ERECRUIT 600 in ESR . then check .
If still its not visible then check you ECC connectivity to ESR .
And give points to user if you got any appropriate solutions .
thanks and regards,
Anup Banerjee
Hi,
you are saying two different statements that
"When i go to SPROXY tcode - this SWCV is shown only when i am clicking local view in SPROXY tcode. When i am clicking on ESR view this is not shown..."
AND
Still when i click on local view of SPROXY tcode,ERECRUIT is not visible there.
I am confused , both are contradict to each other .
please tell exact situation .
Go to SPAM on ECC then check ERECRUIT 600 is installed or not .. Until it will not install you will not see this object on ESR .
thanks and regards,
Anup Banerjee
Once go to Proxy Generation online Document button on sproxy .
then go to Connection to ESR link . Follow the steps once if every thing is perfect or not .
I suggest you to re import the "ERECRUIT 600 " SWCV in ESR of PI .
And make sure u r R/3 sys has web application server version >6.20 or above as because proxy will support only higher version of 6.20 .
If you are not able to solve then raise the OSS .
I think This is not a bug, the system is working as designed
thanks and regards,
Anup Banerjee
This is actually Basis Team's work.
A few configuration steps required to enable sproxy between PI server and the desired server:
1) One RFC of type H to point to PI with all the details.
2) Define the role of the business system in the server that you want to see(Sxmb_Adm)
3)Connection between Business System and System Landscape Directory.
3a)RFC destination LCRSAPRFC of type T for SLD connection.
3b)RFC destination SAPSLDAPI of type T for SLD connection.
4)Maintain the SAP J2EE Connection parameters for LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI in SAP J2EE Engine
5)Maintain SLD access details in Transaction SLDAPICUST.
Please refer the section 1.3.1, 1.3.2, 1.3.3 and 1.3.4 in the document(as linked provided below)
