Hi,

I would like to access sap from my android/windows phone. Could any one suggest to access sap from mobile.

In my system webgui is configured and working fine. I could able to access webgui in my pc with http://dev.mycompany.com:8000/sap/webgui?sap-client=100&sap-language=EN

If i open above url through ip http://192.168.1.99:8000/sap/webgui?sap-client=100&sap-language=EN. and try to login i could login into gui.

As my local pc have host entry i could able login into webgui.

As i do not have host entry in mobile i could able to open login page only and can not login into webgui.

I will be glad if some one can assist me....

I can't imagine using webgui on a mobile phone will be very easy - the screen is just too small. I've used it on a 7" Android tablet and it works well enough. Maybe a Galaxy Note with a 5" screen would just about be OK. Anything smaller would be hard to deal with, I think.

That said, if you can get to the login screen of webgui, I can't immediately think of a reason why the rest won't just work. I assume from the IP address that your Android phone is connected to internal WiFi - 192.168.1.99 is a non-routed IP so you won't be able to access that externally, or when connected via mobile data. What happens when you try try to login?

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the reply. As you said it will be difficult to manage gui on mobile phone. I have tried it on tab was working pretty fine for me.

My approach

In SAP : Configured webgui

In Mobile : Added host entries and connected to VPN through third party applications. And tried the connection and its working fine.
