Hi All,
Wish you all a very Happy New Year.
I have a doubt regarding HANA hardware. We have a server with 128GB RAM. Can we use it as a HANA server by using SUSE linux 11 on it as OS. Or let me know if we required a certified server only for HANA.

Hi Jitu,
Whilst your server may be able to run SAP HANA, it needs to be on the official Hardware list. When you run the installation program, a check is carried out to verify that your server is certified. If it isn't, an error will be generated. For the list of available hardware, see the Product Availability Matrix found here:
