init stock upload

Hi experts,

I have configured warehouse with storage unit active. And when I
make mat document through 561 mvt. type and then stock will go to 998 storage
type and then after LT06 it will go to storage bin. But problem occurs when i
reverese this doc. then WM does not show any impact in warehouse report i.e.
LX02. It shows stock as it is. and unable to make TO with reference to reversed
document.

Please advise.

Dear Vinay ,

I think its appropriate to complete movement of stock from 998 to WM bins after stock upload data is signed and confirmed by business.

In above case cancellation of material document will automatically negate quantity in 998 , but if stock is not there in 998 it will post negative stock and you will have to clear these by stock movements from bin to 998 .

the reversal should create a negative quant in 998 storage type.

you need to to move the stock that you earlier moved from 998 to its final bins back to 998 to make this negative quant zero and the WM stock going away.

Hi Vinay,

Just by reversing the material document will not clear the WM stock since it is updated with TO. You can clear the stock in WM using LX23 transaction. I mean this transaction will help you to sync the IM and WM stock.

Can you Please send screen shot for our analysis..

Also please check wheher you have activated TO confirmation required for picking..while defining strategies.

Also please check what is the exact storage tye indicator, section indicator, strategy you are using and also bin search and all.
