> first check the SAP system is running on your system and if running then confirm from other workstation.
> check and confirm the entries of host name in host file and sapmsSID xxxx/tcp is exist in service file under C\Windows\system32\drivers\etc. example.
host name:
IP Host_Name
Service:
sapmsDEV 3600
Here
DEV is SID
36 is port #
and 00/01 is instance number.
check the Ping and Telnet via
ping IP
telnet IP 3600
DNS entries
> Restart the your workstation and Test the connection
