Infopackage not fetching records..

Hi experts,

Im extracting test data(2 records) from CRM to bw using generic extractor based on function module. In dev both rsa3 and infopackage working fine. But after relising TR, in Quality rsa3 fetching records but infopackage not fetching any records. got zero records transferred. it is full load and no selectons.

Please help me as im new to sap world.

hi savitha,

You can check BD87, is any idocs are stuck, as well as any inbound and outbond queues at t code - SM58 in source system.

Hi Savita/ All,

Could you pls tell  me how you have solved the problem.

We are also facing the same problem.

After moving the TR to QA (both R/3 and BW) we are facing this problem.

In my case, there are no idoc structs and RFC structs.

Even the job is successful in source system.

Is there any setting we need to change.....

Below is the error message in the details tab(monitor screen)

 

No data available

Diagnosis

The data request was a full update.

In this case, the corresponding table in the source system does not

contain any data.

System Response

Info IDoc received with status 8.

Procedure

Check the data basis in the source system.

But I can see the data in RSA3.

Hi Lakshmi,

Pls check the number records at RSA3 and as well as in Base tables. one more thing, have u authorized to pull data into bw?

Hi Raman/Ravi,

I have checked the RSA3 transcation. it is showing 11 records.

And I have SAP_ALL authorization to pull the data from CRM system.

More over we are not using any data selections in info package.

I have created a new IP, but yeilding the same result.

Hi Lakshmi,

pls check any queue are stuck at SM58/SMQ1, if any any queues exist, execute it manually. and see the data request job details.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I have checked the SM58 transaction. there are no struck LUW's.

When I checked the Tcode: SMQ1 by entering all the input fields as *, i found lot of entries.

Is there any selection we can do at this tcode?

hi lakshmi,

Your in which server is it dev or Qa. Other than Production we can do what we required. ask basis team to clean that and trigger your load, it will run fine as i guess.

we are doing it in QA server. do i need to clean all the entries in SMQ1 in BW system?

And then trigger my load?

at during your load if no body is loading in QA, you can delete it all and trigger it.

Hi Raman,

No Ques in SMQ1.

We are extracting data from CRM sys and it is a generic DS based on function module.

Pls could anybody help me where is th eproblem exactly.

Do we need to any setting in CRM side...

The UAT will start from monday onwards...

Hi Raman,

The problem is solved.

It's an authorization problem only. Intially i have checked the authorization for my userid only.

But, the problem is with ALEREMOTE userid doesn't have the necessary roles.

Hello Savita,

If you are not able to understand the logs, you can goto process monitor and environment and select the job overview of data warehouse and source system and paste it in SDN to get better picture on this issue.

Hi,

You have not mentioned , TR released in BW Dev or in R/3 Dev.   If you  have released both the server BW /R/3 , means some problem with BW transport. Please check request.

Hi,

In your Infopackage-->QM Monitor Screen(RSMO)-->Details tab-->Go thru the steps carried out-->Observe whether the Idocs got generated or not?

In the same screen-->Environment Menu-->Transact RFC -->Job in Source and Job in BW

Hi Savita,

Go to infopackage monitor in bw quality, copy the request id on header tab,

go to your CRM ource system , t code sm37, jobname: BIReqid(BI prefix+reqid,this req copy from info package monitor in bw, ). see the job log in detailed, that would help u to get solution here.
