Xi Adapters

Hi all,

When the integration server is installed ,the central AE(adapter engine) installed automatically. Optionally can deploy any no of local adapters engines to reduce the load on adapters? PL let me know

Hi,

I hope it can be possible..

But it depends upon the landscape and your Xi server installation,,,, configuration..

Adapter engine can be maintan centrally and externally..

But <b>a decentralized AE can only be attached to a single Integration Server.</b>

also

XI supports multiple adapter engines.

Only the RFCAdapter should be installed on the XI 2.0 Integration Server engine, but all other adapters can run locally on the business systems for example

You can have multiple local integration engine as well as multiple local adapter engine.

Usually a local adpter engine is setup when security reasons are pretty strong and needs to be addressed.
