How to add new SR Type in status attributes ChaRM 7.1 SP04

Hi ,

How to add the new SRtye in specify status Attribute  like Pre-Production system, UAT system... in ChaRM configuartion

I am using SAP Solution manager 7.1 SP04.

i am trying to add ustomize systenm type in landscape block in normal change .

HI Karthik ,

First you have do some changes in Table where these entries are maintain

Click on domain ROLE_TYPE_SOCM ,it is having fix value where you need to add the new system e.g Pre-Production and rectivate domain

And For Landscape Block , i think these values comes from Logical component mapping with CHARM Project .

So in Logical component add you system type named as like Pre-production and in that map your customized system .

Use this logical component in your CharM project .

Hope this will solve your issue .

Thanks for valuable input.

I have added the new system type in domain.

Assign the same in status attribute

In logical comonent, i have  assigned the target system for QAS and Pre-production system

But in CRM screen, Landscape block still i am getting Quality system.

Any idea, still i miss any settings.

HI Karthik ,

Configuration Wise everthing is correct thats why your system is now available there in landscape block and for sure it will serve its purpose .

Only issue is incorrect name system type in CRM_UI

As per as my understaning that value is coming from here

You need to recheck on this

Pre Production shoud be visible here .

Might be some issue while adding those value in Domain .

Have a check with an ABAP guy .

Hi Joyca,

Any luck to find the solution. Domain and status attribute showing the updated system name in system role , but still system type is showing the standard name . i think some setting to change the system type also.

No, I didn't get an answer and we didn't look further into it, system is workable even without the distinction between qas and preprod.

If anyone else would have the solution though, this would be very nice to know!
