Deletion and archiving queries

I understand how deletion and archiving is done in PI and have gone through many blogs.

I have the following quetions -

1. Can't we select the list of interfaces that we want to delete......like we do for archive ??

2. There is a mention of deletion of historical entries......what is this historical entries ??

3. While archiving the blogs talk about archiving based on archicing object BC_XMB......

     Do we need to use this same archiving object everytime when we want to archive in PI??

    What is this archiving object exactly?

Hi Hema,

You can archive interfaces specific to the interface in PI but you can not delete the interface specific messages in PI.
