What is work clearance management?

Please help me with the customizing steps?

Also what are the steps that I need to execute in the frontend.

Looking for some valuable inputs as I am completely new into this area.

Steps in config depends on what type of WCM model you are going to use.

There are two models available, Standard and Enhance.

Front end steps are almost same except approval. Approval is used in enhance however in standard approval is not required.

Steps

01	Create the maintenance order & assign WCM permit	IW31
02	Create Work Approval (WAP) through Maintenance Order	IW32
03	Create Work Clearance Application (WCA) from WAP	WCTB
04	Create Additional Application e.g. Hot Work from WAP	WCTB
05	Create Operation Work Clearance Document (WCD)
05.01	Create WCD directly & assign the safety document	WCT6
05.02	Create WCD by using the WCD Template
05.02.01	Create Template for WCD	WCT1
05.02.02	Create Operational WCD by using Template	WCR4
06	Release the WAP	WCTB
07	Release the WCA	WCTL
08	Release the Additional Application	WCTI
09	Issue the Permit attached with Additional Application	WCTI
10	Issue the permit attached with WCA & approves Tagging	WCTL
11	Release WCD to start Tagging	WCT7
12	Perform Tagging for Technical objects	WCT7
13	Protection of tagging condition for Technical Objects	WCT7
14	Approving Safety Measurement in WCA	WCT7
15	Take print out of permit from Tagged WCA	WCTL
16	Release Work Order for Execution	IW32
17	Perform Test Cycle for Tagging/Untagging	WCTL

Please search SAP Help & forums about your queries. WCM has been discussed many times. Also Its not possible to give complete configuration steps & process steps in forum.

Try from your side & if you stuck up somewhere, raise an question, so that you can get answer for that.

Within 5 min search, I could find around 20 links on google. But attaching just links is against forum rules.
