RFC Connection is failed

Hi All,

Solution Manager 7.1 SP05 is installed in Linux through Virtual System.

Initially I don't have any issues in RFC and managed system pushing from RZ70 has been successful.

During the course, I had done System Preparation and Basic Configuration. every thing went smooth.

Suddenly I got an error in RFC Connection SLD_UC is not registered...

I gone through most of the workarounds and finally adding the profile parameter rfc/use_gwstart = 1 had solved the issue.

After 3 days, I got the same issue in SLD_UC.

Hi,

please check in SMGW transaction Goto -> Logged on Clients if TP Name SLD_UC is registered. If not check Datasupplier settings in your SLD and ensure that SLD is active.

After pushing the data from satellite system,

I wanted to maintain Managed System Connectio, where we need to create RFCs for Solution Manager Connectivity. When selected the client following error occured.

Issue with the connection to system ED100001 client 001: Error when opening an RFC connection (CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT' : cmRc=20 thRc=497
Unable to determine host address: ).

please help in solving this issue

Add entries for managed systems to /etc/hosts file.
