Hi,
We are building GRC 10 development system. We have installed all the required support packs including GRCFND_A and stated the configuration tasks, like created connector for component( AUTH,PROV,ROLMG,SUPMG )
Have installed Plugin GRCPIERP also in the same system.
I have imported several roles using Role Management that are not showing for assignment in Access Request.
Has anyone experienced this issue, kindly share the possible solution.
Thanks!!
Vinoth
Hi Vinoth,
please also make sure that the roles do have the status "Productive", otherwise they are not seen in the access request screen.
To check whether a productive role exist or not, go to IMG > GRC > Access Control > Role Management > Maintain Role Status. At least one should be marked as Production Status and this has to be selected in BRM.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Alessandro

Hi Vinoth
Check the Role Validity also in addition to the above ,mentioned ,sometimes when we upload the roles validity date doesn't get filled in properly. You can update the Validity date and it will start reflecting.

Hi,
This seems to old post, how ever found the issue as same. Like to add some more steps from above suggestion.
If you import/create the role when the Maintain Role Status was not Production..
You can set each role to Production follow the steps you will get the roles in
1. Goto NWBC->Role Management -> Role Search
2. Search the role
3. Mark the Role -> Select Open
4. Change the Status to Production.

HI Vinoth,
Run the Repository syn job, set the the role status to Production (in SPRO --> Role Management --> Maintain Role status --> select Production.
While uploading roles did you check the status of the role upload?
and can you search the role in NWBC --> Role search
if you able to find the role in Role search then you can see the role in Access Request.

Hi Vinoth,
Please make sure that the following things are done:
1. Repository Sync Job has been run successfully.
2. check the Status of the Note. It should be set as 'Production'.
3. In Role, Provisioning should be set as Allowed.
If all these steps has been done, the roles should be available for use in Access Request creation.
Hope this would be useful !
