Central Monitoring

Hello

I  want to user central monitoring and alerting system (auto-reaction method). for that I configured  the Cen system and   Satellite system  .(abap  system)

shortly things what I did  :

-sapccm4x installation on monitored system 

-rz21 configuration on Cen system

-Rfc confiuration

I checked that all of them is working properly except  I cant see the "Auto-reaction method"   on monitored system (rz20) even I saw that sapmssyt is worked properly.(distrubition aotoreaction methods to systems by rz21)

you have any ideas  ?

I red alot of material about this plus you meant one.  I am checking all steps but no error  .

at screen rz21 , ı distrubute all assigments to monitored systems but ı dont see in rz20

Hi,

Check if SCOT is working fine -It is required to configure SAPconnect settings on client that is used for send processes (E-mails).

Cross check your configuration settings with below steps.

Create Central Auto Reaction Method in Solution Manager Prod client

Check RFC connections to satellite systems from SMSY

Create CSMREG user

Create CSMCONF file

Install CCMSPING agent on Solman server

Copy CSMCONF file to satellite systems

Install SAPCCM4X agent on Satellite systems (ABAP stack)

Configure Availability monitoring

Assign Auto Reaction Method in Solman for Availability

Configure Central System Monitoring

Assign Threshold values for various events

Configure Central System >> Assign Central Auto Reactions and then Check alerts are triggered as per configured thresholds.

firstly thanks for your reply

I am thinking all steps that stated above are done and controlled my myself

but when ı look related monitors  from rz20  that I activated from rz21 for central monitoring , I dont see the assigned auro-reactions from it.

however rfc and sapccm4x agent status is ok. 

what is my fault?

Hi Akin,

Try restarting Monitoring Segment from RZ21  

Select Segement Overview > In Change Mode..Clik on Reset Segment in “WARMUP” Status

For assigning Central auto reaction

go to CEN system RZ21

> Technical infrastructure > Config Central system > Assign Central auto reaction

Add all desired MTEs to the monitored SID's and then distribute the assignment

Then , check whether central tool dispatching is running or not. If it is not running , schedule it from below in RZ21

Techinal Inf> Configure Central System> Activate Central System Dispatching

Then once the job is finished, Goto monitored system RZ20, and check some node which is red

Goto  Nodes( MTE) > Display details

In auto reaction definition and method, it should have the CEN method .
