RSCMSEX problem with 404 - not found messages

Dear community,

We are implementing SAP Content Server in our company for DMS purposes. I installed CS/SAP DB on Windows 2003 and connected our hp unix system to it. I succesfully created several repositories and store documents in there. I created repositories with SAP DB and also with filesystem storage layers. We want to make a smaller implementation but later we will move to a higher capacity platform so I started to test RSCMSEX for migration. When I run RSCMSEX for a SAP DB-backed repository it gives "404 not found" messages for documents, like:

   Message 404 for category Z_DMS_TEST: Export completed in 0 sec (Not Found)

   1 messages regarding categories

   Message 404 for document (Z_DMS_TEST,50bd0dffdc2145f2e10000000a010bc0):

   Message 404 for document (Z_DMS_TEST,50bd2d0edc2145f2e10000000a010bc0):

   Message 404 for document (Z_DMS_TEST,50bd2d77dc2145f2e10000000a010bc0):

   Message 404 for document (Z_DMS_TEST,50bd2ed3dc2145f2e10000000a010bc0):

   Message 404 for document (Z_DMS_TEST,50bd714adbf445f1e10000000a010bc0):

   Message 404 for document (Z_DMS_TEST,50bdfecbdbe645f3e10000000a010bc0):

etc...

But if I run the program for a filesystem-based repository on the same content server it run without any problems and export documents. All the documents accessible from SAP.  I've found that another test report, RSHTTP53, run with the same problem.

Please give me some clues from this error, what could be the problem.

I switched on content server trace, and it gave the following messages:

do the names of Content Repository and Maintain Category match?

Hi Michael,

Honestly I don't remember now, it is an old post. But now it works well. We had some problems with unix-based repositories and stayed on windows platform.
