problem with Stability Study

Hi Friends ,

I am executing a stability Study scenario .

Our scenario is :

For a SFG , samples will be taken (generally 5 samples are taken but this may vary ) .Now samples are tested at frequency of 1st week , 2nd week , 3rd week , 4th week and 8th week . First sample will be tested during 1st week then 2nd sample 2nd week , 3rd sample 3rd week , 4th sample on 4th week and 5th sample on 8th week . All the samples are tested against a single storage condition .

Also if the initial sample qty = 10mg then each sample shoud have 2mg while storing in storage location and during RR the sample size =100%inspection .

For this in SAP I have done :

1. Created startegy

2. Created notification twith QM01 for SStudy .

But the problem I am facing is:

1.  how to create 5 physical samples against a single storage condition . Because on specifying storage location qty only a single sample is generated against each storage condition .

2. How to create a inspection lot in such a way that first lot should be created using first sample , 2nd lot using 2nd sample , 2rd lot using 3rd sample ans so on .

3. whenever the lot is generated against how the sstock is effected with it . For eg the lot sie is 10mg then how the stock will be effected bcz there is no stock posting in the whole process .

Unless have different storage conditions its not possible.

Tq Sujit . What I am thinking is of taking initial sample qty as say 10g and after completing the initial test ; while toring the physical sample I will take sample qty 2g . So in this case one more physical sample will be created . Now after scheduling , each inspection lot according to my maintenance plan strategy will be created with lot size 2g .

The only problem in this case will be when the actual qty in storage condtion is <= 10g . but lot will show always 2g .

Is it fine or some other solution

Dear SAP PM

First Thing is that lot created during stabilty study is of origin 16 and it is not stock relevant.

In the aciton box of qualitynotification When you create inital sample give sample qty 10 mg there.

and whne defening the storage codition you can give sample qty 2 mg for each storage condtion.

Do Step by Step as mentioned in aciton box of notificaiton type QS

Hi Manish ,

That is what the problem  . As I am having only 1 storage condition (for eg at room temprature ) . So only one line is displayed to enter the qty . If for first time , I will mention 2 in it then a single physical sample will be created . But what I want is to create more than 1 physical sample against same storge location and then first lot should be generated agaiinst first sample , second lot against 2nd sample and so on .
