Content synchronization from SLD to LMDB  job fail and show below log

Full sync. of SAP_J2EEDeployedSCService finished: 0 creations, 0 modifications, runtime 0s

Error in CIM XML: Unexpected end of XML document - invalid symbol '' in literal 'N'

Summary of synchronization errors:

Synchronization from destination LMDB_SyncDest1 failed 1 times:

Error in CIM XML: Unexpected end of XML document - invalid symbol '' in literal 'N'

Synchronization job failed (see error information above)

Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

Hi Nainesh,

Plaese check the RFC LMDB_SyncDest1 (G type RFC) in sm59 and check whether it is working or not.

1. check the technical setting : It should point to SLD.

2. Check the user.

If RFC is working fine then check the SLD

1.. Check whether the SLD is running or not

Logon to the SLD and then goto the administartor tab to check SLD is running or not.

Since the error is with CIM Content and CR content XML file .

Best thing to do is to apply the CIM and CR Content once again.

Please let me know if issue has resolved.

Hi Nainesh,

Can you check whether this sapnote is applied to your solman system.

Note 1522365 - Bug in CIM XML Parser for Tags w/o optional sub-tags is applied or not.

Can you delete the inconsistencies as per the sap note :

1727612 - CIM_ERR_FAILED: Invalid key value or reference

Hello,

Check in SM37 the status of the job, search by SAP*LMDB* e.g. SAP_LMDB_LDB_0000000001. Initial sync takes a lot of time in syncing LMDB with SLD.

SAP's recommendation is to have your CIM model and CR content not to be older than three months when compared to the latest available version at the SAP Service Marketplace. Is it up todate? If not please try that.

Hi,

As you can see the job log pointing towards anomaly in CIM, suggest you to update your solman sld CIM. This has no adverse impact.

Check SAP Note 1701770 if the version is OK for your release

The above URL has this. Have you performed the pre-requisites before starting this activity.

■You have performed all previous system preparation steps in SAP Solution Manager Configuration (transaction SOLMAN_SETUP).

■The SLD is running.

■Users and authorizations:

     ■For SAP Solution Manager, users need administration authorization.

     ■For an SLD as of release SAP NetWeaver 7.1, users need the role SAP_SLD_CONTENT_SYNC.

     ■For an SLD as of release SAP NetWeaver 7.0, users at least need the role SAP_SLD_GUEST
