Can i schedule a background job that is originally ran by the sap system?

Hi Experts,

There are these jobs failing due to authorization failed. They are usually ran by the ADMIN or the SAPSYS. Now my system is running very very slow. I was just wandering if the jobs that are failing are the reason for the slow speed of processing and that if i can schedule it in sm36 myself.

any help is much appreciated,

  Don

Can you check SM50 and see w/p are free or not..

Check the User-Ids with which the jobs were scheduled,,whats the role attached to them and confirm if user is locked or not

You can changes the user provided the new user got all authorisation needed to run the job

You can change the user from editing the already scheduled job(Released state),,and assigning to a new user (sm37...select the job...change,,,click steps,,,,edit the user)

Hi Shahnas,

The jobs are being ran from client 888, and we have no users that can access that client. Can i schedule it using an id with all the authorizations but in a different client?
