Limiting number of columns in Analytic view

In analytic view when i join data foundation with Attribute views, all these columns are appearing in the output (data preview). Can we limit only a few columns of these ?

Hi HANA User,

The data preview is nothing but a SELECT statement which combines all the Key figures and characteristic columns.

You can copy the select statement and modify it to select only required columns. You can check the SELECT statement generated by Data Preview in the View Log option.

Alternatively you may have to change the Attribute view to restrict the columns, which may not be the correct way.

One more point:

I think with SP05, you should be able to select the columns from Attribute view in "Shared" tab in Analytic view. I haven't yet personally used SP05 Modeler yet, but think it should be possible.
