File Upload Issue-Error when initializing Virus Scan interface

Hi All,

I am getting error message when uploading csv file for SMI monitor and error message shows as "Error when initilzing virus scan interface(errorcode1)"

I did below config setting:

1) Defined number range for both upload and download profile

2) Selected constant qRFC destination for FTR with value for Global Constant=Logical system name

Note: I am having doubt  whether we need to define logical system in t-code SMQS or SM59 or both

3) I ticked the check box for active and default profile for virus scan profile /SCA/DM_FTR/UPLOAD_FILE under define virus scan profile

Note: There is allready thread (1714199) for the same error but I did not get solution from that.

Please do the needful and let me know what exactly I am missing.

Hi Raghavendra,

do you have a virus scan provider installed and active on your system? (check tcode VSCAN)
