Task Status change(cprojects)

     Hi experts,

     I want to prevent a task’s status from being set to ‘Complete’ if the previous task is not already ‘Complete’.

How can I prevent this and how can I give message to the user? Step by step, can you exlain it to me?

Hi Vildan,

Not sure but have you tried to create a finish-finish relationship between both tasks?  If you have this relationship could you complete the second one without completing the previous one?

Thanks Sara for your response. System does not read relationship excluding Finish-to-start so unfortunately your suggestion cannot be applied. Thank you
