OS/DB Migration with Unicode Conversion

Hi.. it's it supported and allowable by SAP.. to do unicode conversion while we doing OS/DB migration ?

Source release 4.6c on solaris with Oracle , moved to target 4.6c on Aix with oracle.

Any SAP notes ?

Hi,

Unicode conversion is possible during OS/DB migration.But in your case you have mentioned that the source release is 4.6c.But unicode conversion is supported only from Web pplication server 6.2 or higher.

Also if you are planning for an upgrade to ECC 6.0 you have a choice of choosing combined upgrade and conversion.Refer the following notes for further information.
