Include Digital signature on SMARTFORMS

Hi,

My manager has assigned me a task to search "How to include Digital signature on SMARTFORM" technically.

Digital signature is not an image here where we scan it and upload in SAP via se78, but we want to include digital signature for security purpose.

I have searched many discussion but all of it points to digital signature as an image.

Does SMARTFORMS have this functionality?

If yes kindly let me know the steps to achieve it.

Smartform is only printing technology. I don't think digital signature is possible in smartform. The max you can have is a background image.

For digital signature, you will have to use Adobe forms. transaction code is SFP.

You have mentioned that you dont think Digital signature is possible in SMARTFORMs.

Can anyone refer me to the SAP note to support this?

I need to present to the client with SAP note number.

Hi,

Upload the bitmap image file of the digital signature using SE78.

In smartforms create the graphics node and give the name of the image uploaded.

only you can insert image by se78. not any other digital signature you can insert.

Hi Vinoth,

se78 will be good if we have to upload an image of digital signature.

But this is not the requirement.

But we intend to include digital signature (certificate) for security purpose.
