Turkish character problem with PDFUC device type

Former Member

Hi,

We have a problem with the output of Turkish character from Xerox laser printers.

We are running a unicode system and we need Turkish character on PDF converted from spool. Therefore we use PDFUC as device type. With this setting, we have no problem with the spool or the PDF created from that spool. However, when the spool output is sent to the "Xerox 7345" model color printers, Turkish characters are missing. You can see the difference in attachment.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

try using windows unicode device type SWINCF. With your printer connected to a Windows system, you can use the device type SWINCF with Access Method S or G which will utilize the Windows
printer driver.

Aidan
