Can we create Visualization Profile product wise?

Hi,

the visualization profile in RRP3 and other views helps in terms of viewing the important characteristics for planning, however it is a fixed value at the transaction user profile level. Is there a possibility of making the same dependent on products? Since the characterstics view would change with the product.

At a Slab Level Grade, Width, Thickness, Length would be meaningful, However at a corrugated sheet of pre painted galvanized CRCA product additionally Colour, Zinc Coating, Tension Leveling Type, Corrugation Profile, etc would also be required.

Also if there is a way of increasing teh number of characteristics in the visualization profile, please let me know.

you came to the same question as I did before when I created a demo for steel production.

I could not find a way to make the visualization profile product dependent. I always had to change it for the product.

currently the profile has only 10 characteristics.

We had customers with the same requirements.

they used the BADI to fill custom fields in the product view.

Extend Order View

Use

With the Business Add-In (BAdI) /SAPAPO/RRP_IO_COL you can modify
the views of the order
view (receipt view, requirements view, pegging structure, pegging
overview tab page Elements, tab page ATP in the product view).
You can:

• Display up to three additional columns defined in the standard
  system
• Display as many additional columns as you wish. You define these columns in
  the customer include CI_RRP_CUS_FIELDS.  This does not apply to the tab page ATP in the product view.
• Change the values of the standard columns
• Delete or add individual entries
