How to restrict "Capture Excise Invoice" in MIGO

Dear All,

In MIGO transaction, we want to restrict user to "Capture Excise Invoice" in Excise tab.

With which authorization or object we can restrict?

There are two things- You want to restrict the user from posting from MIGO screen or you dont want MIGO screen to display option of capture and post.

For first case you need to seat with BASIS / Security and restrict the user from posting using Authorization objects J_1IGRPT1 & J_1IINEX

In second case, where in you dont want capture and post option on MIGO screen,

1. SPRO--Logistics – General--Tax on Goods Movements--India--Basic Setting--Maintain Excise Groups

and deselect Post EI in MIGO.

Go to, SPRO - Logistics General - Tax on Goods Movements - India - Business Transactions - Incoming Excise Invoices - Specify Which Movement Types Involve Excise Invoices

Here remove the movement type (101 or 103 or 105) for RG23A and RG23C.

Now post MIGO, you will not be able to capture 'Part 1' entries. Later you have to capture the same through J1IEX.
