Please help with the version of universe in BI4 SP2 and BI4 SP4.

And if any upgrade of the universe is to be done when upgrading from BI 2 SP2 to BI 4 SP4

You dont need specifc thing to do for universes when upgrading from SP02 to SP04. Please check this link for more details about upgrading to SP04:
