Solution manager upgrade

Dear Experts,

        I want to upgrade solution manager from 7.0 to 7.1, But other two more things are installed in the same server one is SAPRouter and another one is DMS. So how can i upgrade the solution manager only without affecting the other two things. My platform is Windows 2008 and MSSQL.

Hi,

The upgrade may not effect the SAProuter & DMS.

for safety side i can suggest you as below

• Please take the SAProuter Directory backup.
• DMS full backup
• 7.0 Solman export.
• Better to have full OS backup.
• Keep Separate Drives & enough space for all major components.
